A passionate relationship with art and a love of fashion is what brought Shari Dixon to jewelry design. Her motifs incorporate natural elements such as flowers, leaves and feathers utilizing shell and wood as a canvas behind her pieces. They are then sealed with a resin that preserves the forms and immortalizes their fragile, otherwise fleeting lives.
All the four deserts at the Southwest of North America, the Mojave, Chihuahuan, Great Basin, and Sonoran are the native land of Apache Plume desert plants. Southeastern California, southern Colorado, southern Nevada, New Mexico, west Texas, Arizona, and northern Mexico are the other native places for the desert plant. The plant is basically a variety of the rose family.
This adjustable ring is made with genuine Apache Plume and is resin set in an antique brass pendant.
