Clayton Days Catalogue

Between 1990-2000, artist Vik Muniz worked at the Frick Art & Historical Center on a photography project that explored the life and times of those people who, at the turn of the twentieth century, lived and worked on the site.  This insightful 90 page catalogue, which includes over 65 photographs, was published in 2000 by the Frick Art & Historical Center with the original debut of Muniz's work.  With a introduction by DeCourcy E. McIntosh and closing essay by Andy Grundberg, the reader is invited to explore the images from within Clayton and around the grounds to invent their own narratives within Muniz's constructed history.
