Pittsburgh native Kirsten Lowe-Rebel starts each piece by creating an original line-work illustration. She then makes art prints which she cuts up to create unique and specialty art print jewelry and accessories. Each piece speaks to the texturally rich and strikingly beautiful urban fabric of our steel town. All the jewelry is hand cut, ground, designed and polished by Lowe-Rebel. The art prints are then triple sealed for protection and finished with a museum quality wax. Her images are embedded into the fabric of her textiles via digital printing, which is more durable than normal silk screening.
