A pair of thin rectangular earrings with slightly irregular edges. This piece was created by starting with two veins instead of just one. As each grew, the two roots became enmeshed into a continuous network while visually maintaining their own hierarchies of primary, secondary, and tertiary veins.
The pattern was grown in a computer simulation of leaf venation and etched from a sheet of stainless steel with stainless steel earwire.
